Storytelling

Brought up on the Hebridean island of Islay, Neil was fascinated as a boy listening to stories of the old people, when the ceilidh round the fireside was still the favoured entertainment. His love of storytelling has developed since then into a wealth of tales to please an audience. He is also a member of the Scottish Storytelling Network.

From the author Neil Munro’s great characters – Para Handy, Erchie MacPherson and Jimmy Swan to the poetic gems of Angus MacIntyre, Mull’s renowned raconteur and bank manager, Neil can bring them to life.
